You have come to the website of the Friends of Peterborough Cathedral, a registered charity (249608), founded in 1927 to:

• To arouse and foster interest in our Cathedral;
• To assist the Chapter with funds to preserve the fabric of the Cathedral, the monastic buildings and other historic features of the precincts, and of any buildings used for the purposes of the Cathedral;
• and to assist in the preservation and enrichment of the ornaments and furnishings of the Cathedral and maintenance and development of its worship and mission.

Welcome to the website of the Friends of Peterborough Cathedral.  The Friends is an international association which, for more than 80 years, has supported the mission and ministry of our unique Cathedral both by financial grants to specific projects and also as a forum for social fellowship.  We hope you will find this site to be interesting and informative - and if you are not already a member of the Friends might consider joining us!  Wishing you every blessing,  Charles Taylor (Dean of Peterborough)
